See Estoppel. Preoludi non. L. Ought not to be barred. The clause in a replication to a plea in bar, " that by reason of anything in said plea alleged, plaintiff ' ought not to be barred " from maintaining his said action." The two words were the most emphatic" in the Latin writ.
