Glen Cove is a city in Nassau County, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2000 Census, the city population was 26,622. The Mayor is Mr. Ralph V. Suozzi, cousin of former Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi. Part of the early 20th century Gold Coast of the North Shore, Glen Cove has a diverse population. Glen Cove is one of the only two cities in Nassau County. The other is Long Beach.
