Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida. The population was 45,658 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 47,166 . The city was founded by Philadelphia publisher, F. A. Davis, who purchased 12,800 acres (52 km) of Hamilton Disston's land around 1911.
