Spring Grove is a village in McHenry County, Illinois, United States. The population was 3,880 at the 2000 census. The population has grown to 5,303 as of 2005. It is also home to Chain O'Lakes State Park. The current village president is Mark Eisenberg. Spring Grove is home to Richardson's corn maze, known as the largest corn maze in the world. The pattern of the maze changes annually, often featuring Chicago sports teams.

A civil right is an enforceable right or privilege, which if interfered with by another gives rise to an action for injury. Examples of civil rights are freedom of speech, press, and assembly; the right to vote; freedom from involuntary servitude; and the right to equality in public places.
