Adamsville is a town in Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham–Hoover–Cullman Combined Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census, its population was 4,965. According to the 2005 U.S. Census estimates, the town had a population of 4,845.
