Minneola is a city in Lake County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,435 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 7,253. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Minneola tangelo is named after the city.
