The Lizard's Tale, a children's bookstore, is attached to Newtonville Books, the adult section. Newtonville Books is one of the most renowned bookstores in the Metro Boston area. Branching off of Walnut is the Austin Street urban area, which sports a Kabloom Flowers, a Starbucks, and a Goodwill dropoff. Auburn Street's Shaw's Supermarket, formerly Star Market, was one of the first companies in the country to buy airspace for construction; the supermarket straddles the Mass Pike.
