Lyon Mountain is a hamlet located in the Town of Dannemora in Clinton County, New York, United States. The population was 458 at the 2000 census. Lyon Mountain is in the western part of the town. The Lyon Mountain Correctional Facility, a minimum security prison, is located nearby.
