Moyock is the corporate headquarters of Xe Services LLC (formerly Blackwater Worldwide), a private security company that provides training for United States military and police forces and supplies private paramilitary forces in Iraq and other theaters. The company maintains a 7,000-acre (28 km) training center in the town on Puddin Ridge Road.
