Clermont is a city in Lake County, Florida, United States, west of Orlando. The population was 9,333 at the 2000 census. The City is essentially residential in character and its economy is primarily centered in retail trade as well as lodging and food and beverage establishments, which are tourism oriented. The tower celebrated its 50th anniversary in December 2006.
