A criminal appeal is a formal request to rehear a case that has already been decided -- a request that a new court reconsider the decision of the first court. The Spring Gap Recreation Area is a popular location to pick-up, drop-off, or park when hiking or biking the C&O canel tow path to or from Cumberland, Maryland. Some of the best fishing in the Potomac River is in the section from Spring Gap to Hancock. Running nearby the C&O canel is the CSX main rail line to Cumberland and Route 51.
