Hanover is a city in Hennepin and Wright counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 1,355 at the 2000 census. Most of Hanover lies in Wright County; only a small part of the city extends into Hennepin County. Even though Hanover is partly in the metropolitan county of Hennepin, it does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Twin Cities' Metropolitan Council. Despite being a small city, Hanover has three progressive restaurant establishments which include ChopsBar. com, the Hilltop Bar, and the River Inn. They offer many options for the locals and visitors to Hanover.
What is criminal defense law?
In a criminal case, the state, through a prosecutor, initiates the suit, while in a civil case the victim brings the suit. Persons convicted of a crime may be incarcerated, fined, or both. Criminal defense attorneys represent clients who have been accused of committing a crime, and defend their rights at each stage of a misdemeanor or felony case -- from an arrest to an appeal after conviction. Criminal defense attorneys may be hired privately or provided by the government (called "public defenders").
