An estimate made by the town government, based on approved developments, projected the population to be 7,813 residents by 2010. There are three properties in Rolesville that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places: Dr. Lawrence Branch Young House, Green-Hartsfield House and the Heartsfield-Perry Farm.
