Sherwood is a city in Renville County, North Dakota, in the United States. The population was 255 as of the 2000 census. It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Sherwood was founded in 1904. Sherwood's weather station has one of the lowest (if not the lowest) yearly precipitation levels in North Dakota, with an annual normal of 13.13 inches (1971-2000 period).
