The north side of the campus is called AllPoints at Anson and is a joint development between Duke and Browning Investments . It is named after Boone County native Anson Mills, an accomplished surveyor, builder, civil engineer, Union Army officer, inventor, diplomat, and author. When finished over the next 10–15 years, Anson is expected to directly employ nearly 25,000 people with an annual payroll of more than $868 million.
