Cases involving injuries to cruise ship passengers may include injuries, deaths, missing passengers who apparently fell in the ocean, passengers being hit by falling objects, food poisoning, being thrown by rough seas due to the neglect of the captain and nearly every other conceivable type of injury possible on land can exist on cruise ships. Avoca is an unincorporated community in Jones County, Texas, United States. It is on State Highway 6 at the intersection of Farm to Market Roads 600 and 1636, eight miles southeast of Stamford. Avoca is part of the Abilene, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Lueders-Avoca Independent School District serves area students.
