Fernandina Beach is a city in Nassau County in the state of Florida in the United States of America and on Amelia Island. The area was first inhabited by the Timucuan Indian tribe. It is the only municipality in the United States that has flown eight different national flags. As of 2008, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates the City’s population to be 12,076. It is the county seat of Nassau County.
