Norman is a city in and the county seat of Cleveland County, Oklahoma, United States, and is part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It is located in central Oklahoma, approximately 20 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City. As of 2009, Norman was estimated to have 106,957 full-time residents, making it the third-largest city in Oklahoma. It is the largest city in Cleveland County and is the county’s center for business and employment.
