Ironton is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 498 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area. Ironton is located on the Cuyuna iron range, from which its name is derived. It is immediately adjacent to its twin city of Crosby, Minnesota.
