Bruni is a census-designated place (CDP) in Webb County, Texas, United States. The population was 412 at the 2000 census. Bruni was named after Antonio Mateo Bruni, a local Italian immigrant who owned a ranch and a general store. The town is within the boundary of Webb Consolidated Independent School District and it is home to the Bruni High School and Bruni Middle School.
