Spearman is a city in Hansford County, Texas, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 3,021. It is the county seat of Hansford County, and is known for its collection of windmills from the J.B. Buchanan windmill collection. The city was named for Thomas E. Spearman, a vice president of the North Texas and Santa Fe Railway.
