South Salem is a hamlet in Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. In the town center is a post office, the town hall, a library and a recycling center. Notable residents have included Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, the photographer O. Winston Link, the artist Charles Sheeler (American, 1883–1965), the pianist Hélène Grimaud and the actress Colleen Dewhurst. Currently, actor and Broadway director, Stanley Tucci lives in the town as well.
