Cowiche (pronounced Cow-witch-ee) is an unincorporated small town northwest of Yakima, Washington, near the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountain range, in central Washington State (USA). Cowiche, sometimes spelled Cowychee, is said to mean "footbridge between the valley and the mountains."
