West Creek is an unincorporated area or informal "village" located within Eagleswood Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey, in the United States. West Creek is also known as "West Crick" to the locals. The village is named after the stream that runs through it, West Creek. The name "West Creek" is derived from the Lenape word "westeconk," meaning "place of fat meat". As of the United States 2000 Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08092 was 3,003. The village is served by a general aviation airport, Eagles Nest Airport.
