A Helicopter Accident is an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the helicopter with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, in which a person is fatally or seriously injured, the aircraft sustains damage or structural failure and/or the aircraft is missing or is completely inaccessible.
Peggs is a small unincorporated community of 100 residents in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, United States. The post office was established December 6, 1899. It was named for Thomas Pegg, acting principal chief of the Cherokee Nation during the Civil War. A large minority of its residents are Native American, most of them members of 10 tribal groups such as the Cherokee Nation and the Muscogee Creek Nation. One of Oklahoma's deadliest tornados hit Peggs on May 2, 1920, killing 71 people.
