Cottondale(pronounced Ca-taun-da-lay) is a town in Jackson County, Florida, United States. The population was 869 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 865 . It has snowed here very few times but on February 12 of 2010 it snowed for nearly three hours.
