Otterbein is a town in Bolivar Township, Benton County and Shelby Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, named for William Otterbein Brown who donated land for the town. The population was 1,255 at the 2006 census. It is part of the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area.
