Mendota Heights is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. It is a first ring southern suburb of the Twin Cities. The population was 11,594 at the 2000 census. It is one of the wealthiest cities in America; it ranks on the list of highest-income places in the United States with a population of over 10,000.
