Burns is a town in Dickson County, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 1987 comedy film Ernest Goes to Camp was shot here. The population was 1,366 at the 2000 census.
