Glen Rose is a city in Somervell County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,122 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Somervell County. The general location is 60 miles (100 km) southwest of Dallas/Fort Worth. Glen Rose is part of the Granbury Micropolitan Statistical Area.
