Fremont is a city in and the county seat of Dodge County, Nebraska, United States, near Omaha in the eastern part of the state. The population was 26,023 at the 2000 census. The Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, Washington is named after the hometown of two of its founders, L. H. Griffith and E. Blewettcity.
