Rogersville is a town in Hawkins County, Tennessee, United States. It was settled in 1775 by the grandparents of Davy Crockett and is the second-oldest town in the state. It is named for its founder, Joseph Rogers. Tennessee's oldest courthouse, first newspaper, and first post office are each located in Rogersville. Much of the Town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
