It is a domain covering many areas of law and regulation. Some leading topics include intellectual property, privacy, freedom of expression, and jurisdiction. Internet attorneys may represent individuals and business in legal transactions and disputes involving software development and licensing; online retail business and auctions (e-commerce); internet security and spyware protection; and online privacy.
Edisto Island is one of South Carolina's Sea Islands and is a census-designated place in Charleston County. The population was 2,301 at the 2000 census. Edisto Island is not to be confused with the town of Edisto Beach, Colleton County, SC.
