Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Brantley is a town in Crenshaw County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 920. It is the hometown of former Auburn University and NBA basketball stars Chuck Person and his brother Wesley Person.
