Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Alamo is a city in Wheeler County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,943 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Wheeler County. Alamo was founded in 1909. Alamo's courthouse was built in 1913 and is on the National Register of Historical Places. The Lamplighter Little Theatre dates back to 1919.
