Labor law is the body of law which address the legal relationship between trade unions, employees, and employers -- including collective bargaining, union organization activities, and the negotiation of strikes and lockouts. Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Webberville is a village in Leroy Township, Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,503 at the 2000 census and in July 2007 population count was 1,489. The village is just northeast of the junction of M-43 and M-52 with I-96. It is about 5 miles southeast of Williamston and about 20 miles southeast of Lansing.
