Egg Harbor City is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the city population was 4,545. Egg Harbor City incorporated as a city by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on June 14, 1858, from portions of Galloway Township and Mullica Township. The city was reincorporated on February 13, 1868.
