Labor law is the body of law which address the legal relationship between trade unions, employees, and employers -- including collective bargaining, union organization activities, and the negotiation of strikes and lockouts. Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Labor law attorneys may represent their clients in matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which hears disputes between employers and unionized employees.
North Arlington is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 15,181. As the site of Holy Cross Cemetery, which has interred over 250,000 individuals since its establishment in 1915, North Arlington has over 15 times more dead people than living. North Arlington was formed by a referendum passed on March 9, 1896, and incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 11, 1896, from area taken from Union Township.
