Labor law is the body of law which address the legal relationship between trade unions, employees, and employers -- including collective bargaining, union organization activities, and the negotiation of strikes and lockouts. Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Ladson is a census-designated place (CDP) in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina. The population was 13,264 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Charleston–North Charleston–Summerville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ladson's post offices serves residents of Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.
