Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. New Boston is a city in Bowie County, Texas, United States. It was named after an early store keeper, W.J. Boston. It is part of the Texarkana, Texas - Texarkana, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area. Barney Cannon, a popular Country music deejay for radio station KWKH in Shreveport, Louisiana, was born in New Boston in 1955. Upon his death in 2009, he was interred at Red Bayou Cemetery there.
