Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Bear River City is a town in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. The population was 750 at the 2000 census, an increase over the 1990 population of 700. Its population places it well below the minimum population for a city under Utah law. Bear River City was first settled by a group from Brigham City in 1866.
