Labor law is the body of law which address the legal relationship between trade unions, employees, and employers -- including collective bargaining, union organization activities, and the negotiation of strikes and lockouts. Labor law arose due to the demands for workers for better conditions, the right to organize, and the simultaneous demands of employers to keep labor costs low. Labor law attorneys may represent their clients in matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which hears disputes between employers and unionized employees.
South Burlington is a city in Chittenden County, Vermont, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 15,814. It is one of the anchors of the Burlington-South Burlington metropolitan area. It is composed of multiple sets of suburban neighborhoods and a commercial center, which is in the process of being converted to a downtown. It is also home to the state's largest mall, the University Mall. The city borders Lake Champlain and has a public park and beach, "Red Rocks".
