Wayside is an unincorporated community located near the intersection of Highways 1 and 438 in west central Washington County, Mississippi, United States. Also, on 9 October 2009 three mobile homes were destroyed and 16 houses were damaged, and many trees were knocked down. A fatality took place in a mobile home.
