Thompson is an unincorporated community in Audrain County, Missouri. It is located six miles west of Mexico on Route 22. It was named for early settlers. A fire killed two children there. There is a gas station "Dawsons Country Store", a Post Office (65285), and Hopewell Baptist Church.
