Chadwick is an unincorporated community in Christian County, Missouri, United States, about six miles southeast of Sparta. It is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. Several homes and a school are located in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest. Chadwick R-I Schools are an elementary and middle school/high school that are located right near each other in the same parking lot with a gymnasium, green house, bus barn/ag building, and a multi purpose building. The school's mascot are the Cardinals and seemingly their colors are Red, White, and Black. The Lady Cardinals basketball team won the State Class 1A Tournament in 2006. The Cardinal Boys basketball team made it to the State Class 1A Tournament in 2009, only the second time in school history, taking fourth place. Nashville Star finalist Justin David also hosted a concert in the Chadwick gym on September 8, 2006, to support the local Project Graduation of the class of 2007.
