Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Miramonte (formerly, Rancho Miramontes) is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California. It is located on Mill Creek 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Dunlap, at an elevation of 3094 feet (943 m). The first Miramonte post office opened in 1909, was discontinued in 1912, and re-established in 1923.
