Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Cosmos is a city in Meeker County, Minnesota, United States, along the South Fork of the Crow River. The population was 582 at the 2000 census. Minnesota State Highways 4 and 7 are two of the main arterial routes in the community. On the third weekend in July, the city holds the Cosmos Space Festival. See link below.
