Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Yukon is an unincorporated community in eastern Texas County, Missouri, United States. It is located at the junction of Route 17 and Route 137 about nine miles east of Houston. The community was founded in 1900 and is named after the Gold rush in the Yukon that occurred in 1898-1899. Its post office is closed, and mail now comes from nearby Houston.
