Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Hastings is a town in Oswego County, New York, United States. The population was 8,803 at the 2000 census. The town is named after Hastings Curtis, a prominent citizen. The Town of Hastings is on the south border of the county. US Route 11 and Interstate 81 pass through the town.
