Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Hoople is a city in Walsh County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 292 at the 2000 census. Hoople was founded in 1890. Hoople's nickname is "Tatertown. " Hoople is probably best known outside North Dakota as the location of USND at Hoople, the fictional university created by Peter Schickele.
